Tranquil time out #25

by Lee on 2/21/2008

Walking home in western Tokyo, with Mount Fuji making a cheery change from the considerably more common concrete.

Very nice!

In all my trips to Japan, I have never had a good view of Fuji from the ground (did have a clear view once from the air out the window when my plane was landing at Narita).

That’s a great picture!! Where did you take that from?

I’m pretty lucky working in Hon-Atsugi and have a wonderful view of Fuji-san every day … there’s been some great clear morning this week.

Thanks, it came out a bit better than expected.

I’m out in Hino on The Chuo Line, and the picture was taken along the Asakawa. It’s fairly unusual to get such a clear view of Fuji from there, although it has been quite clear of late.

I think I enjoy your pictures most from all the things you post. (Hey, that rhymes).
For some reason you seem to capture the things I like about Japan.
Keep up the good work. :)
