As Japan boasts an absolutely massive amount of vending machines, and the vast majority of them dispense drinks, it’s perhaps not surprising that manufacturers are keen to offer customers a bite to eat as well as a beverage.
But whereas bread in a can appears quite passable, and tinned udon looks terrible but is perhaps palatable at a very peckish push, pasta is patently a foodstuff too far.
Although it does feature a folding fork, which is at least something.
Sort of.

I think Pasta is the best idea of the lot …. it’s the only one i’d entertain eating. My local station has hot corn soup in a can … too bad i hate corn.
I don’t see this as all that different from canned goods like Spaghettios, etc, that are popular in the US. Both are likely vile, but not that unusual.
The bacon part is what worries me.
That picture on the can doesn’t really sell it, does it?
It’s hardly spaghetti hoops, but canned pasta is okay with me. Bob the Builder pasta shapes FTW!
