As a way of getting from A to B, a rickshaw would more than likely be a massive waste of time, or at the very least a monumental waste of money. But that said, and even though they are only wheeled out in traditional areas to tempt tourists, there’s no denying that they always look fun, as well as fascinatingly old-fashioned.
There's also the option of following Tokyo Times by full feed RSS, and now Twitter too.

It does look like fun. I must admit I would be very tempted.
I once took a rickshaw in Nara to escape the clamoring “harou, harou” of a massive bevy of junior high school girls, more fearful than angry crows or the avaricious deer of Nara. The young driver took me along the less driven back roads of Nara for my escape, and it was a nice, calm, interesting way to reach my destination. I very much enjoyed it.
