Yes, it’s soccer, and the nets are just to his left — he’s standing at the edge of his area.
Goro isn’t a popular name anymore apparently, which isn’t surprising really considering Japan’s low birth rate, as it means fifth son…
he looks like an excellent goalkeeper to me ^_^
Where is that field?
It’s by the Tamagawa, in Tachikawa. And I’m pretty sure the road up on the left is the Chuo Expressway, if I’ve got my bearings right.
