Tokyo Times is owned and run by me, Lee Chapman, a long-term resident of Tokyo who arrived in 1998 for ‘a year or two’, and, for a myriad of reasons, stayed put.
Japan means many things to many people, but Tokyo Times is how I see it. The places. The people. The day-to-day situations. All of it shot using a Leica, a Nikon and a selection of lenses.
My photographs have appeared in the Guardian and Japan Times, plus numerous magazines and books. Should you wish to use any, or simply ask a question, you can get in touch with me here.

Apparently this guy’s an Okinawan comedian called “Gori”. Saw him in HMV Shibuya a couple of months ago for a DVD promotional thingy – very well-shaved legs for such a big chap.
I know this is very very late, but i saw your hard gay post and i wanted to mention a thought… i was thinking itd be really funny to see how hard gay would react if he accidently chose a person who is actually gay to attempt to alienate and the gay guy flirted back and rubbed back against him, etc… i often hear how dedicated he is to his character but one must wonder if he could go that far?
ps. i love uniqlo, so dont make fun of it too hard? im even wearing a uniqlo shirt at this moment.
uniqlo is pretty sweet, but the guy I always wonder most about on the board with the guys behind the counters is the old guy in the sweatsuit. foreigners really stand out.
