Yes, it may well be getting warm. Unfortunately a tad humid too. But it’s clear that as far as this immaculate and wonderfully attired man is concerned, such conditions are by no means an excuse to let standards start to slip.

Tokyo Times is owned and run by me, Lee Chapman, a long-term resident of Tokyo who arrived in 1998 for ‘a year or two’, and, for a myriad of reasons, stayed put.
Japan means many things to many people, but Tokyo Times is how I see it. The places. The people. The day-to-day situations. All of it shot using a Leica, a Nikon and a selection of lenses.
My photographs have appeared in the Guardian and Japan Times, plus numerous magazines and books. Should you wish to use any, or simply ask a question, you can get in touch with me here.

What style! Love it.
Yes, real style. And as such, he really stood out from the crowd.
Okay. Come on. You can’t deny me. If his jacket is a shade of blue, then so too is Ginza-dori. No? Otherwise, you need to stop shooting Ektachrome pushed to 800.
Haha! On a regular day, I’d say it’s a really nice shade of grey. A shade all its own too. But, on a sunny day, like the one I took the photo on, there’s no denying it does seem to have a blue tint.
To be honest I wish more roads were covered with the same concrete/tarmac (or whatever it is), as it’s much more appealing than the standard black.
I see, Lee. You moved from B&W to Blue! I know Chelski won the double and Citey the league, but no need for this
I would love to see this gentleman’s date!
Haha! Actually it was my mood that was blue — I’m a Bolton Wanderers supporter…
I like his style.
Me too. I wish I could I muster even a fraction of his style…
Very classy !
Classy is the perfect description.
Little concerned about the man in the snazzy suit cuttin’ his eyes at you…. Be careful out there!
I think it was a dirty looked aimed at my lack of style rather than anything else!
