The wonderfully relaxed nature of a young couple who appear to have found love. And the way less comfortable posture of a pair quite possibly looking for it.

Tokyo Times is owned and run by me, Lee Chapman, a long-term resident of Tokyo who arrived in 1998 for ‘a year or two’, and, for a myriad of reasons, stayed put.
Japan means many things to many people, but Tokyo Times is how I see it. The places. The people. The day-to-day situations. All of it shot using a Leica, a Nikon and a selection of lenses.
My photographs have appeared in the Guardian and Japan Times, plus numerous magazines and books. Should you wish to use any, or simply ask a question, you can get in touch with me here.

Being a cynic here. I wonder which couple has been together longer?
That’s a very good point, although I’m not sure the pair in the background are actually a couple.
I was thinking a couple friends used to hanging out together lol.
Love the framing.
Cheers, Don.
Hilarious, I only just noticed the couple at the back of the wood
Yeah, not the happiest pair…
Oh, sweet!
Yeah, they certainly seemed very comfortable together.
Great shot, sums up Japanese relations in a single photo
Thanks!
